Court Blocks Ssuuna Ben’s Access to Home Amid Property Battle with Mary Nambwayo

The High Court, Lands Division, has issued a restraining order against media personality Ssuuna Ben, preventing him from accessing his home in Garuga, Entebbe, Wakiso District.

This order, granted on October 31 under His Worship Kagoda Ntende Samuel, aims to protect co-owner Mary Nambwayo’s rights amid ongoing legal proceedings over the property.

The dispute between Ssuuna Ben and Nambwayo centers around the residential property located on Busiro Block 435, Plot 759 at Bukaya in Wakiso District. Nambwayo, claiming co-ownership, argued that she and Suuna Ben jointly acquired the land and constructed the house.

Despite Ssuuna Ben’s insistence that she should vacate the premises, Nambwayo refuses to leave, asserting her equal stake in the property.

The court’s interim order bars Ssuuna Ben and any associates, including servants or romantic partners, from engaging in activities that could affect the property’s title or ownership.

Specifically, the court prohibits actions like cancellation of the title, sale, transfer, construction, mortgaging, leasing, alienating, or evicting Nambwayo, her representatives, children, or servants from the residence. This restriction will remain in effect until a final determination is made in the main application for a temporary injunction under Miscellaneous Application No. 2871 of 2024.
