Popular Ugandan artist Grenade Official has made headlines with a bold prayer, asking for his former manager, Jeff Kiwa, to live long enough to see his achievements in the music industry.
For their troubled history, Grenade through an TV interview over the weekend, he emotionally expressed his hopes that Kiwa would witness his (Grenade’s) future success, including potential Grammy wins and sold-out concerts at major venues like Lugogo Cricket Oval and Namboole Stadium.
“Lord, I pray that you give people like Jeff Kiwa life so that they can watch me win Grammys, hold big concerts at Lugogo Cricket Oval and Namboole,” Grenade said in a statement.
“Lord, I pray for people with wicked hearts, that they may live longer to see us achieve more than they expected.”
The prayer comes after Grenade publicly accused Kiwa of undermining his career, despite having previously helped him rise to prominence in the music scene.
Since last week, the singer has voiced his frustrations, claiming that Kiwa has become a barrier to his progress rather than an ally.
Grenade alleges that his former manager, once instrumental in his career, is now actively working against him.
As Grenade continues to pursue his dreams, the artist remains determined to reach new heights, regardless of any obstacles that may come his way.
