Prominent Ugandan businessman Frank Gashumba has responded to public speculation surrounding his daughter Sheilah Gashumba’s wealth, especially after she unveiled her luxurious Range Rover Velar in a distinctive rose gold color, complete with personalized license plates, “Gash 00UG.”
Speaking to journalists, Gashumba defended Sheilah’s career, emphasizing her success in the media and digital influencer space.
“There is no media personality in Uganda who earns more than she does,” Gashumba stated. “You see her in bars, and you think she is spending, but no, she is working as an influencer in those bars.”
He went on to explain that Sheilah charges between UGX 5 million and UGX 10 million for promoting even just a restaurant, highlighting the substantial earnings from her various engagements.
Sheilah Gashumba, widely known for her roles as a radio and TV presenter, digital influencer, humanitarian, international digital music PR, and luxury party host, has garnered significant attention in Uganda for her career achievements.
Her recent purchase of the Range Rover further fueled public curiosity about her sources of income, prompting her father to set the record straight.
