Eddy Kenzo insists that no amount of criticism will bring him down, expressing confidence in his achievements and his place in the music industry.

In a passionate response, Kenzo shared his thoughts on how Ugandans struggle with healthy competition, often preferring to tear down their successful peers rather than support them.

“No matter what people say about me, they can’t put me down. Ugandans don’t know healthy competition; they always want to drag you down,” Kenzo remarked.

Listing his accolades, Kenzo reminded his critics of his groundbreaking career. “I am a BET award winner, a Nickelodeon award winner, a Grammy nominee, and a multiple award winner. I have shut down stadiums in over 50 countries. I’ve seen it all. I am here to teach actually,” he declared.

Kenzo’s message was not just defensive; it was also a call for unity in the industry. He urged his critics and colleagues to set aside negativity and focus on the growth of Ugandan music.

“There’s nothing you can reverse back. People should just come to me, and we unite to see how to move the music industry forward,” he added.
