Ray Signature recently shared how his journey into the music industry began, crediting renowned songwriter and producer Sylver Kyagulanyi for giving him his first big break.
According to Ray Signature, it was through a talent search organized by Kyagulanyi in 2009 that he found his footing in the competitive music scene.
The competition attracted over 200 participants, and Ray Signature emerged as one of the top performers.

His success led to the formation of a boy group alongside two other winners, under Kyagulanyi’s management. Although the group lasted only three years before parting ways, it provided Ray Signature with the exposure and experience he needed to continue as a solo artist.
He continues to express gratitude to Sylver Kyagulanyi for the opportunity that launched his career, marking the beginning of his journey in Ugandan music.
