Police Explains Arrest of Rapper Gravity Omutujju

The Uganda Police has shed light on the recent arrest of rapper Gravity Omutujju.

Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango revealed that Omutujju was detained for allegedly harboring a group of individuals believed to be involved in criminal activities.

According to Onyango, the rapper was instructed to disband the group and continue on his way. However, Omutujju reportedly failed to comply with the police’s orders, leading to his arrest.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon as Omutujju was traveling through Kampala City Centre on his way to the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

He was scheduled to address the media about his upcoming concert next month.

This arrest highlights an ongoing issue with certain artists, including Gravity Omutujju, who are known for being accompanied by groups of individuals.
