Comparisons have begun swirling between Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo’s former flame, Rema Namakula, and the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals), Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, who is now Kenzo’s new partner.

According to esteemed entertainment journalist Ronnie Mark Kiyingi, Rema Namakula significantly outshines Hon. Nyamutoro in terms of popularity.
“Rema Namakula is a bigger name than Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro in the country. When I say bigger, I mean in terms of name recognition and popularity; people are even willing to pay to see her,” Kiyingi asserted.

Rema and Kenzo ended their relationship in 2019 but have since managed to co-parent their child amicably.
