Acram Gumisiriza, husband of Hajat Kulthum Nabunya, has set his sights on the 2026 presidential general elections, expressing his desire to lead Uganda and make his wife the first lady.
During a chance encounter with reporters, Gumisiriza was praised for his unwavering love and devotion to Nabunya, fulfilling the promises made on their wedding day.
In response to inquiries about his plans for his wife, Gumisiriza revealed his intention to elevate Nabunya to the esteemed position of first lady by running for the presidency in 2026, citing it as the ultimate gift he wishes to bestow upon her.
Asserting his candidacy as an independent, Gumisiriza emphasized his confidence in meeting all the necessary qualifications to assume the highest office in the land.
