In a significant turn of events for Tanzania’s music scene, Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize, two prominent figures in the Bongo Flava genre, have put an end to their longstanding feud.
The reconciliation took place during a ceremony held at the State House in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, organized by President H.E Samia Suluhu Hassan, who extended invitations to various artists.

During the event, Harmonize approached Diamond Platnumz and extended his hand in a gesture of reconciliation.

Notably, during their interaction, Harmonize was overheard expressing his intention to reconnect further with Diamond, stating, “I’ll call you tomorrow, get the bus.”

The rift between Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize stemmed from their previous professional relationship, with Harmonize having been signed to Diamond’s WCB Label over nine years ago. However, their association soured, leading to a bitter split, the exact reasons for which remain undisclosed.
