Micho names 25 for Zambia friendly

Uganda Cranes Football Coach, Micho

Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has named a strong 25-man squad for the upcoming international friendly against former African champions Zambia.

Uganda travel to the Chipolopolo backyard next month for the March 5 encounter on a Fifa day.

The Cranes will use the tie to gauge their readiness for the 2015 Nations Cup preliminary qualifiers in May while Zambia will use it to prepare for the group stage proper in September.

Micho named three goalkeepers, nine defenders, eight midfielders and five strikers. The squad has players that featured for Uganda at the January Africa Nations Championship (Chan) in South Africa and the usual experienced seasoned campaigners.
