In a tweet directed at Oscar Kampala, he inquired, “Hello Oscar Kampala, how many retweets for the #Mak74thGrad tailored suit?!”
Oscar Kampala responded with a tweet exuding camaraderie and shared history. “The fact that we joined Muk in the same year 2019 makes it more special. No need for retweets, my brother; come for that suit. The goal is to own your own iron sheet company now. Move correctly. God above all,” read Oscar Kampala’s supportive reply.
Ssuubi Henry first gained widespread attention in 2019 when he made a unique entrance at Makerere University, carrying a metallic suitcase. Photos of Ssuubi at the University Hall residence circulated on social media, sparking a range of reactions from the public.

Ssuubi, enrolled in the College of Engineering, Design, Art, and Technology, School of Engineering, was on the receiving end of a wave of solidarity.
Earlier this month, Ssuubi Henry’s journey took a remarkable turn when he surfaced as an employee of Uganda Baati, one of the region’s leading iron sheets manufacturing companies. This marked a poignant transformation from a challenging past to a sweet testimony of triumph.
Despite his humble beginnings at Makerere University, often referred to as East Africa’s heart of academic excellence, Ssuubi is set to graduate with flying colors, securing a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering.
