Saturday 22nd February 2014 saw the crowing of a 19 year old Colombe Akiwacu as the winner of Miss Rwanda 2014 beauty and talent contest which took place at Petit Stade in Remera Rwanda.
The pretty lady who hopes to join University soon and pursue a degree in Computer sciences was treated to loud cheers as her name was mentioned to crown her the overall winner.
Her major reason for joining the contest was to help young people to stop using drugs as these are harmful to their lives. We hope she goes ahead and helps many to see the light.
Our very own Sheila Gashumba co-hosted the show alongside MC Lion. Shortly before the grand finale she shared a picture on Facebook with the caption “All set for Miss Rwanda 2014. Here are your MCs for tonight Sheilah Carol Gashumba and @MC Lion.”
