Ray G recently revealed that the reconciliation between him and Azawi was orchestrated by Eddy Kenzo, the President of the Uganda Musicians Federation.
The disagreement between Ray G and Azawi initially arose over a performance order at an event in Mbarara, creating tension between the two artists.
Kenzo, recognizing the need for resolution, intervened and played a crucial role in bringing about an amicable solution to the dispute.
In his efforts to mediate, Eddy Kenzo conducted a thorough investigation into the matter. He communicated with both Ray G and Azawi, urging them to set aside their differences and find common ground.
Kenzo’s influence within the music industry and his adept mediation skills played a pivotal role in facilitating the reconciliation between the two artists.
The successful resolution occurred as Ray G and Azawi met face-to-face, putting an end to their misunderstandings in a friendly manner.
During an interview with Sanyuka TV today morning, Ray G expressed his gratitude towards Eddy Kenzo for his instrumental role in bringing about peace. Ray G clarified that his disagreement was not with Azawi personally but rather with the flaws within the music industry’s system.
Ray G emphasized the importance of better protocols for event organization and artist management to avoid such disputes in the future.
Despite his frustrations, he acknowledged that Azawi was not to blame for the situation. However, Ray G did critique Azawi’s social media handler for mishandling the situation by issuing an unnecessary statement, which he believed further escalated tensions between the two artists.
