Sparrow was the founder of Afri-cans Street Art Festival, a festival that activated multi-modal artists in the local community to beautify spaces with local voice and expression.

Sparrow’s deep-seated sense of vocation as an artist was revealed through a momentum of exposure to grassroots projects where he connected and cultivated the invigoration of community through street art.

Sparrow arrived in Australia in 2020, just prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic. To support his resettlement and connection, Sparrow mindfully consumed Melbourne.

Acknowledging the local interplay of color, infrastructure, and architecture and its impacts on community and atmosphere.
