One of the top news headlines this week is the arrest of Vlogger Political analyst Mr. Tamale Mirundi’s son Tamale Mirundi Jr.
News about Tamale Mirundi’s arrest was first shared via social media in a video clip where he appeared to be rustling with Police officers, leaving the public and followers mesmerized.
However, the Kampala metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango has come out and opened up how Tamale Mirundi Jr got hand-cuffed.
According to Onyango, Tamale Jr was arrested for insulting and disrespecting Traffic officers as they were in their line-of-duty.
Onyango said that the brawl started when the Police officers intercepted Tamale Jr’s journey to check and verify if he possessed driving documents, only to find that he had a mammoth of tickets he had not cleared.
“He didn’t a driving license the time he was arrested prior this incident. On this occasion, he had acquired a new one but the car had many unpaid tickets. On talking to him, he disrespected the officers,” Patrick Onyango said.
However, its revealed that Tamale Jr was later rescued from jail by yet undisclosed person in government.
