The Uganda Cranes coach, Milutin Sredojevic a.k.a ‘Micho’ has been found guilty of sexual assault, this website has learnt.

According to South African media HeraldLIVE’s report on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Micho was charged in the Gqeberha Regional Court, South Africa, and was thus convicted on two counts of sexual assault.
Court also sentenced Micho to 3years imprisonment and suspended him for 5years.
His legal team was also granted leave to appeal the conviction.

His legal team was granted leave to appeal the conviction, reports Riaan Marais,” reads a tweet from HeraldLIVE.
However, the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) believes that national team coach will soon be back after accomplishing his private matter he asked permission to attend to in South Africa.
“The Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic asked FUFA for permission to attend to a private matter in South Africa. We have this afternoon received information that the private matter has been concluded for now. The coach will come back to resume his duties accordingly,” FUFA’s statement reads.
Respectable sources reveal that Micho committed the crime during the 2021 U21 African Cup of Nations qualifiers, when he was still in charge of Zambia’s men’s national football team.
Micho is said to have been accused by a 39-year-old woman to have “touched her buttocks and making inappropriate sexual remarks” to her.
The source also reveals that the lady had delivered coffee to Micho while watching a football match in the stands, and asked if he (Micho) would want sugar.
It is further disclosed that Micho responded by saying he wants another type of sugar and pointed to the woman’s private parts before touching them.
