BigEye.ug can comfortably reveal that Rehemah Namakula aka Rema is 5 months pregnant and has decided to spend the remaining 4 months off the scene. Rema who moved in with Eddy kenzo had wanted to keep the pregnancy a secret and thus decided to go AWOL from the music industry.
Ever since the year began, Rema has not made a single Facebook update on her page. She also changed her official phone numbers, and even the new phone numbers, she doesn’t pick up unless one is a very close friend or family member.
Rema has also been absent from music concerts and clubs. Friends have revealed that it’s her pregnancy that’s making her act weird. “Yes, she’s pregnant, I think about 4 to 5 months pregnant, just can’t be so sure, but her yearnings for raw mangoes have intensified,” a close female friend reveals.
BigEye.ug thinks it might be Eddy Kenzo’s pregnancy, though we can’t confirm. After the Paddy Bitama saga, these days, only the DNA can confirm the real father but Kenzo is a great contender for the fatherhood post of Rema’s unborn baby.
Another school of thought actually says Rema has just put on a lot of weight and she doesn’t want to make a public appearance until she loses some of this weight. “There are many things, her life can’t be explained now, she once regretted why she had left Gagamel, her university degree is also on tenterhooks, she’s a bit depressed and she’s gained a lot of weight. Rema is a very insecure girl about her body, she can’t stand being called fat, so that’s why she’s decided to disappear,” says her neighbour in Ntinda.
However, others think she got a new strict boyfriend who doesn’t allow her to move out of the house. “The way I know Rema, she is one lady who will submit when she finds someone she really loves, I think she found a very rich man who imposed a new set of rules that bars her from setting foot outside the house,” says a course-mate who used to do most of Rema’s course-work at Kyambogo University.
However, BigEye.ug can confirm that Rema is indeed pregnant, having been seen taking Maternity classes at Nsambya hospital. In about 5 months, we shall be welcoming the fruits of the sweat that took place months back.
