The Blind Date, a short film starring renowned Ugandan actress and entertainer, Martha Kagimba aka Martha Kay is now the hot-cake in Uganda’s movie industry.

Blind Date is a crime action drama about one man that hits a jackpot with a con but decides to stay around for more than just his loot.
The quality of production and the talent showcased in the film is one of a kind Uganda has witnessed before.
Written and directed by Loukman Ali, Blind Date stars astonishing talents; Martha Kay, Michael Jr Wawuyo, Nkakalukanyi Patriq, River Dan Rugaju Kagoro, Rushabiro Raymond and Musumba Allen.
Mr. Adnan SSenkumba and Andrew Ahuurra feature on the notable team of sound recordists, engineers and producers of the movie.
The cast is ambitious in availing quality Ugandan movie productions, that would deservingly compete for top slots in the movie market worldwide.
Premiered on Valentine’s day, the film is a great representation of how Uganda’s film industry is booming.
Apparently, this is the group’s first of 6 episodes in its crime dramas anthology miniseries, as the second episode (16 rounds) script is ready.
