Vivo Energy Uganda, the distributor and marketer of Shell branded fuels and lubricants in Uganda, has rewarded over 15,000 Shell customers with fuel and airtime worth UGX 40 Million in the ongoing nationwide ‘10 Weeks of Cheer-Reloaded’ promotion.
The promotion which was launched on 11th December 2020 and concludes on February 19th 2021, had a total of 157 participating Shell service stations countrywide to ensure great representation and convenience for customers across the country.
Speaking at the rewarding ceremony of the 2nd batch of jackpot winners at Shell Makindye, Vivo Energy Uganda Managing Director Gilbert Assi said the campaign is aimed at rewarding existing Shell FuelSave Unleaded or Diesel customers, to boost loyalty among them, as well as to encourage other motorists to try the brand.
“Through this campaign, we are giving our customers a double benefit of complementary fuel while still enhancing the performance of their cars. We have seen an increasing uptake of Shell Fuel Save customers looking to get extra fuel for both short and long distance drives. This is as a result of their appreciation of the fuel’s capability to enhance everyday driving performance and responsiveness,” Assi Said.
Through weekly draws, 10 lucky jackpot winners are rewarded with UGX 200,000 worth of fuel each.
Robert Asingwire, one of the jackpot winners thanked Vivo Energy Uganda for the complimentary fuel. He advised all motorists to purchase Shell Fuels because they are of good quality and protect car engines.
To participate and win in the ‘10 weeks of Cheer-Reloaded’ promotion, motorists purchase Shell FuelSave Unleaded or Diesel worth UGX 10,000 for motorbike riders or UGX 50,000 for motorists at any of their preferred Shell service stations countrywide.
