Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov is reportedly a target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Berbatov, who spent two years at White Hart Lane before joining Manchester United in 2008, has reportedly caught the eye of Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
The Telegraph reported on Monday that the Lilywhites are weighing up a cut-price bid to re-sign the Bulgarian playmaker.
The 32-year-old’s agent has admitted that Berbatov could move in January.
Tim Sherwood doesn’t believe Tottenham need another striker, even with Jermain Defoe moving to Toronto FC at the end of February, but this hasn’t stopped Levy from snooping around in search of a replacement for the England marksman.
Berbatov would cost the North London club around £1.5 million. The striker’s contract at the Cottagers expires in less than six months.
