During her 31st birthday celebrations at Red Terrace bar and restaurant, Bunga, the self-proclaimed ‘Queen Karma’ landed heartfelt appreciating words to her fans and followers for the efforts they rendered to vote her in the awards.
“First of all, I want to thank my fans who have been voting for me on a daily basis because of their love for me to win. Me too I worked tirelessly to see that I win because when God gives you an opportunity, you must utilize it not ignoring it and am happy that its what me and my fans did,” Sheebah said.
In a delightful mood, Sheebah conceded the defeat and congratulated the ‘Jerusalema’ singer upon that mega victory.
Sheebah also disclosed her pride and gratitude in losing to Master KG, whom she thinks deserved to be crowned over her in the category.
“This time round am so happy that I lost to the right person. Master KG had an upper hand over me in this category because of his Jerusalema song that has 2Million views on YouTube in a just a year,” she added.
The ‘Nakyuka’ crooner further confessed that she is one of those passionate fans for Master KG’s Jerusalema song and her nomination in such a category is stunning to her music career.
“Am also obsessed about his song, I like it. The mere fact that I was nominated in the same category with such big names on the continent, it was just enough and huge achievement in my career.“
In the same category was Burna Boy (Nigeria), Rema (Nigeria), Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa (South Africa), Gaz Mawete (DRC) who all lost to Master KG.
