A Fortebet winner is all smiles after bagging UGX 422 Million from a 2,000shs stake. Whatever praise you may want to heap on to this ticket is in no doubt very much deserving.
Three weeks ago, this winner (identity withheld for security reasons) tried out placing this ticket, not knowing that it will be his life changer.
He says that he was at home, about to go to bed, and decided to place the bet before sleeping off and forgetting all about it. “I placed this ticket at midnight. I wanted to sleep but had no sleep, so I said I should just try out selecting some matches. From that night, I even forgot all about this ticket,” the winner said in an interview.
He went on to add that; “I have been placing ticket for the last 2 years but without a single big win. This is the first time I am winning”. The first matches on his ticket (number 8020866558999999) were played on July 28 while the last on August 13. His 2-match ticket had 13 home wins, 3 away wins, and 4 over 2.5 goals. His ticket was a mixture of fat odds like Arsenal’s win over Chelsea in FA (odd 3.20) and as small as 1.30.”
Talking about how he felt immediately after winning, the winner said; “The Atalanta-PSG almost made me faint because the score was 1-0 upto the 90th minute yet I bet on over 2.5. Unbelievably, PSG scored in the 90th and 93rd minute to earn me the result I wanted.”
Fortebet paid out this win (422, 254, 752/=) to zero balance in cash as the winner wanted.
“I have always dreamt of becoming a big modern farmer and I think this is my time,” he explained on what he will use the money for, while he advised fellow bettors never to lose hope.
