Prominent local comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi is sighting a career trial into active politics after almost 20years into the comedy world.
It’s now confirmed that ‘New Amarula’ head, will be running for the Nansana Municipality Member of Parliament seat come 2021 General elections.
Recalling from some of his past public speeches, Amooti has overly tipped intimates about his interest to serve his residential area socially.
Amooti joins fellow comedians; Madrat and Maama Sam who have also tabled their political manifestos in their preferred localities.
However, Amooti is still undecisive on which political party he should front his candidature on.
His comic career is also dubious to the public.
