History is set to be made today as Ugandans gear up for the annual Zzina Awards under the theme: “For the Love of Ugandan Music.”

Due to the current social distancing measures, lockdown and curfew, the highly anticipated Galaxy FM organized, MTN Uganda, KAGWIRAWO and MOVIT sponsored event couldn’t go through as earlier planned so a first ever online version will go live this Friday the 12th of June 2020 at exactly 7pm E.A.T.

Those to be awarded include; singers, producers, songwriters, comedians plus one outstanding sports personality and an entertainment industry legend.

The whole experience shall include exciting live performances and lots of goodie packs courtesy of the sponsors so keep your phone, tab, pad, laptop or whatever gadget you use fully charged for a fun filled and greatly rewarding Friday night.

This year’s Zzina Awards will be hosted by Evening Rush’s Prim Asiimwe and Mid Morning Tukoone’s Mr Henrie.

Entrance will be absolutely free.
