Located on the ground floor of the ultra modern Metroplex Shopping mall, Naalya, New Day Coffee shop, is one of the few cafes in town that have grasped the essence and concept of a coffee shop, and is arguably one of the best in town.
The coffee shop serves espresso, macchiata, cappucino, latte, iced coffee and other tribes of coffee. It boasts of an impressively well stocked bookshop, spacious dining area adorned with beautifully crafted polished wooden tables and chairs. A life size green leather couch accentuates the dining area.
On entering the mall, to your left is the coffee. The outstanding furniture is hard to miss, coupled with the green potted plant creates the allure of an outdoor atmosphere inside the mall. The green colour theme stands out for them.
THE MENU:
Variety is served; vegetarians are well catered for. English break fast (hash brown, egg, bacon, sausage, toast) goes for 17,500/-, omellete goes for 4500/-, Wraps(flat bread with fillings) – prices range from 8K to 11k depending on the filling.
For those who love meat, there are grilled pork chops. I would go for stir fried chicken served with vegetable rice (I8K) for lunch. Tilapia fillet is also served. Soda is 2,000.
Food is served hot and delivered in a very short time.

Very welcoming and keen.
THE AMBIENCE:
Stimulating for dating, business engagements, family day out, the place is largely quite and child friendly helping you focus. It would be better to have company.
THE CROWD:
I was there at around noon. There were a few women chatting.
Naalya is largely an up scale residential area and the mall is a well thought idea bringing high quality services to a relatively secluded part of the city which of late has become a key social center. New Day Coffee shop stands out from other cafes in the mall!
