Last Friday, Nexus Events joined the league of events organisers when they came of age with their maiden Major event dubbed Alikiba live in Concert. The show that took place at Hockey Grounds happened so fast and being one week of organization, the moderate crowd that was received proved they have a spot as one of the companies that understand events organization.
From the stage that was spacious enough to the lighting and sound, the show went on well with local artistes like Sheebah Karungi, John Blaq, Kent and Flosso, Daddy Andre and Weasel did some magic that excited the crowd.Alikiba showed up later on to thrill the crowd that had waited for him long enough.
He performed songs like Chekecha, Aje, Mwana, Cinderella and Seduce Me. All these got Ugandans singing and dancing along to the Tanzanian artiste’s vibes. After his performance, he proceeded to Nexus Lounge for the after party event which he also performed for those that missed the show at Hockey Grounds.According to sources, it was the first major event by Nexus and not the last since they have promised another big international show which we are not yet sure about but watch the space.
