Little Hands Go Green on Sunday started the children’s holidays in style with the Green Festival happening a week after they returned from school for their holidays. The Festival that took place at Kololo Airstrip attracted thousands of children who turned up with their parents to be part of the fan.

Besides the children getting a play area and having their faces painted, they also got performances from Weasel and Spice Diana. For starters, Little Hands Go Green is a civil society organization that spreads and mentors children to be the main drivers of Environmental protection.

The head of the organization Joseph Masembe has for many years climaxed the Environmental Protection Campaign with an annual fanday which is the Green Festival. This year’s festival had each kid going home with a tree seedling to take home and plant. The Festival is sponsored by Riham, NEMA and NFA.
