A media campaign has been launched today at the Electoral Commission offices ahead of the 2020/21 General Elections. Electoral commission, a body that was constitutionally established by the Government of Uganda to organise and conduct elections in the country launched a media company that will kick off on Monday to September 14.

The company according to Electoral Commission Chairman Justice Simon Byabakama, some polling stations will relocate from the usual areas to avoid chaos during election time. “Some Polling stations are located near bars and crowded places and these have been affecting the exercise of voting in the past years,” Byabakama said.

He went on to also assure the general public that the National ID alone will not be enough for someone to take place in the voting exercise come 2021. “Only Voters registered with electoral commission will take place in the process,” Byabakama said.
