Uganda has many musicians, most upcoming. The reason many never make it to the top is because they lack certain key qualities that could see them take over.
Meet Nakakande Rami Gladys aka #RamiGladys who is ready to do all it takes to take over. Born on 27th of July 1991, Rami hails from Kalungu, Lwabenge.
Rami Gladys grew up doing music and this enabled her to raise school fees. Surprisingly, she never mentioned this to her parents. ‘I am a writer and a vocalist,’ she says.
Gladys contested in CocaCola Rated next 2013 and she was among the people who made it in #Masaka and I was among the top 25 Countrywide. It was her first competition that energized her to do music.
Given her background, Gladys says that she is now ready to take over with several songs under her belt. She also reveals that unlike many, she is a hardworker, resilient and challenges herself quite a lot.
We cannot wait but see what she will do in the music industry.
