By Our Reporter

Evoke Night season 3 is set to return for yet another thrilling episode scheduled for Friday, May 31 at the MTN warehouse. The second episode, themed “Midnight drum”, will shine a spotlight on rappers and spoken word artistes.

Like the debut episode, the second episode will also see select individuals battle for a grand prize of 1 million shillings, courtesy of Club. This episode will have competitions in Spoken word, Rap and Beat boxing.

To take part in the competition, contestants will post a minute-long clip doing their thing on social media. It is from these clips that the ultimate nominees will be chosen. Three nominees from each element will be selected, making it nine contestants who will battle for the grand prize.

Evoke Night is a monthly event that celebrates raw, untapped talent by providing a platform for young and gifted performers to showcase, communicate and express themselves through art.

Meanwhile, the first episode which was hosted at Lugogo Forest Mall parking late April saw deejays pitted against dancers and DJ Mackus emerged winner.
