BUJUMBURA – Burundi President – Pierre Nkurunziza has officially received 2019 prestigious HiPipo Music Awards winner for Africa Fans’ Favorite Fresh Talent – Natacha La Boss at State House, Bujumbura.
Ms. Natacha, a female artist from Burundi tightened her grip on the path to excellence in the music industry.
In the just concluded 8th edition of the HiPiPo Music Awards held at Kampala Serena Hotel in Uganda, Natacha scooped the award in the ‘Africa Fans Fresh Talent’ category.
Natacha La Boss was given a heroes welcome when she returned home after winning a HiPipo Award in Uganda.
Hundreds turned out to welcome the singer who successfully beat off stiff competition from Yovi (Nigeria), King Monada (South Africa), Joyce Blessing (Ghana), Shekhinah (South Africa), Mankind (Kenya) and Mbosso (Tanzania) with whom she was nominated in the category.
Famous for songs like Mubibona Gute, Roho Yangu, Kuja and much more, Ms. Natacha is surely the face of ‘fresh talent’ in Africa and beyond.
H.E. Nkurunziza congratulated Ms. Natacha for representing Burundi very well.
