Singer and vocalist Kakooza Manson aka Melody is in a cold war with service providers MTN and Airtel with singer accusing the giant Telecom companies of breaching copy right law. Melody accuses the companies of giving their subscribers his songs caller Tunes without his consent.
Melody therefore demands a mouth watering sum of over 400M in compersation. The singer who under his lawyers Tumwebaze, Atugonza, Kobusingye advocates and legal consultants has petitioned the Telecom companies. The singer earlier in 2017 petitioned the companies and has this year reignited the war to revive his arrears.
Melody is one of the other Artistes who have over time had complaints with caller tune sums, Singer Big Eye in 2017 had a similar complaint which was solved amicably.
