Uganda International Cultural Fair to Focus on Food

The 3rd edition of the Uganda International Cultural Fair will mainly focus on food at this year’s celebrations. The three day event which will be happening from the 21st -23rd of September 2018 at the Uganda Museum will give the Ugandans an opportunity to experience local and international cultures in one place with the main focus being food.

All cultures within and beyond Uganda will prepare their signature dishes which will be sold to revelers in samples which will go for as low as ugx 1000.

The local cuisines from different cultures and tribes in Uganda will be on exhibition at the Uganda museum for three days, together with International cuisines from different communities living in Uganda like the Indian, Chinese, Turkish, Kenyan, Rwandan, Ethiopian, Mexican among others.

Participating communities will also get to showcase their cultural music, dress codes, poetry, Storytelling, comedy, games, technology, ancient beverages/brews and everything that surrounds their culture.

You will have to part with UGX. 5000 & 2000 for adults and kids respectively to enjoy the cultural fair.
