The Miss Uganda beauty pageant finale took place last Saturday at Sheraton Kampala hotel with Ms. Quiin Abenakyo taking the crown home.
After the much anticipated function came to an end, several outlets made headlines insinuating that Zari Hassan who was the official judge had solely made the decision to crown Ms Quiin.
Now, Miss Uganda organizers have come out to clear the air saying she only spoke on behalf of her fellow judges as the special guest judge, and that the decision wasn’t hers alone but rather unanimously reached by all the judges.
“On the contrary, she was a special guest judge and the decision was unanimously made by a panel of judges that is Maggie Kigozi, Abryanz, Jawar Lwanda, Sylvia Namutebi to mention but a few “part of the statement posted on twitter mentioned.
