NC Bank Uganda Limited has today launched its first Visa enabled debit card. With Visa services available in over 200 countries globally, the bank’s new payment solution will enable customers easily make transactions at their convenience.
“By issuing out Visa debit cards to our customers, we shall enable them to carry out transactions without necessarily having to carry cash. This will enable our customers to make purchases at merchant places and transact online in a more convenient and secure way.” Said NC Bank Managing Director, Sam Ntulume.
“Visa is a very secure platform with several interventions in place such as pin & chip technology, and verified by Visa functionality to help minimize fraud cases while making transactions.” He added.
The Visa debit Cards are readily available at NC Bank branches at Rwenzori Towers, Village Mall Bugolobi and Market Branch on Market Street. As people continue to seek out easier ways of making payments without necessarily visiting banking halls, the Visa debit cards will enable holders to access money internationally and also shop online.
