Ghetto president’s “High Grade” lyrics and explicit glorification of smoking marijuana, an illegal substance, has of late received overwhelming negative criticism including national broadcaster UBC announcing an official ban of the video and audio in its sister stations, as well.

However, the self styled ghetto gladiator will not let his newly-found social responsibility and reputation be dragged in the mud. He has come out claiming he only wanted to portray reality not glorifying drugs.

“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”

He is reported to have shot back at critics saying that people are told to abstain to prevent HIV yet go ahead and have unprotected sex with prostitutes. In his defence, he maintains that people come of age and make personal decisions irrespective of message in songs they hear.

“High Grade” was produced and shot in Jamaica as part of Bobi Wine’s “JAMAICA-AFRICA PROJECT” which climaxed with Mr. G and Bobi Wine holding a charity concert at Lugogo, Kampala.
