Bryan White under his Bryan White foundation has shown intentions to start up a textile industry that will solely be aimed at creating jobs for the young Ugandans and impowering them. The first step towards his cause was for him to purchase land on which the activities will take place.
Bryan White has purchased a square mile of land in Busungu in Mityana district. The said land was purchased at 1.5B Ugx and construction will start any time from now. “The natives here will have first priority when it comes to giving out jobs. This industry is to employ the people of Mityana. It will be the people of Mityana to grow cotton and that way we are eradicating poverty” he assured residents.
