Over the years, singer Zanie Brown has continuously evolved into a spiritual and devotional artiste who churns out lyrically-rich music for her loyal fan-base at a quite really spaced interval.
“November 2017”: That’s how long the singer had taken without releasing a song (You and I) after her best-selling record “Muyaye”.
Synonymous to British vocalist Adelle, Zanie has become one of those artists who can spend ages without a song, but definitely make a hit when she releases one.
Her latest song “Mugulu” is no exception of the above.
Flowing with touching lyrical matter, “Mugulu” is a fantasy song of how different the world would be, if there was no hate, jealousy, or crime.
“I wish we would have sleep in Heaven, come here breakfast in the morning,” Zanie softly sings in part.
She also imagines a world where bribes are not needed, where food scarcity is unheard of, and consequently maybe, the devil wouldn’t have been created.
Dotted with eye-catching views of natural forests and lakes, the video perfectly sits in sync with the message.
Popular video-maker Saint Jude, who is the director, merges his creative proficiency with Producer Crouch’s audio artistry to birth an arguably soul-moving ballad.
“Mugulu” is definitely worth the wait for the fans of Zanie Brown.
