Standard Chartered bank has concluded its campaign dubbed "Live the Anfield Dream" in which its lucky customers won a trip to Anfield

By Our Reporter

Standard Chartered bank has concluded its personal loan campaign dubbed “Live the Anfield Dream” in which they are rewarding their customers with a grand opportunity to enjoy a live match experience at Anfield.

The campaign climaxed on Thursday last week when they held their final draw at their Lugogo Forest mall branch with three customers selected to experience the “Anfield Dream”.

Pius Ahimbisibwe and Mathias Balaba were the lucky winners in the final draw, joining Barnabas Tumusingize who had been picked in the first draw held in December 2017.

The winners will receive a fully paid trip for two to watch a match in Anfield as well as receive Liverpool FC – Standard Chartered merchandise.

During the campaign, the bank’s clients were offered access to Personal Loans at slashed interest rates of 18.9% p.a. with repayment holiday of up to 75 days.

“We have received an overwhelming response since this campaign started in October 2017. It had affordable loan repayments of up to 72 months and a break of 75 days before the first loan installment repayment giving our clients financial flexibility during the end of year festivities, into the new year,” Israel Arinaitwe, Head of Retail Banking said.

The campaign was aligned with Liverpool FC’s 125th anniversary celebration, for which Standard Chartered bank has been a sponsor since July 2010.
