Nigerian superstar Wizkid has revealed that he is not getting paid for his show in Uganda.

He made the revelation while explaining why he was a no-show last year. The singer noted that he could not turn up for his concert in Kampala last year because of circumstances beyond his control and is now trying to make it up to his fans.

“I am not being paid for this show. I am doing it because I love my fans in Uganda.” He said.

Meanwhile, the singer has expressed excitement about the show and promised a massive performance. “I will give a two-hour performance to make sure we all enjoy ourselves to the maximum,” he added.

Wizkid will thrill fans in Kampala in a show dubbed “Thursday Night With Wizkid”.  The much anticipated show  will take place this Thursday, December 7 at at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
