Comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi is spearheading a new philanthropic cause.

We have learnt that the “Man from Ombokolo” has set up his own charity initiative. Salvado has revealed the charity foundation has been named “Dawa Foundation” after his father and will be officially unveiled during the second edition of the “Man From Ombokolo” show.

“I have been doing a lot of charity work in the past, but I now want to officially unveil my charity organisation,” he said. “It will be named Dawa Foundation.”

“Dawa is my father’s name,” he added.

According to Salvado, his philanthropic efforts will mainly go towards helping children with autism and some of the concert proceeds are expected to go to this cause.

Meanwhile, “Man from Ombokolo” season 2 will take place on Friday October 27, 2017 at the Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. Tickets will be going for 100K.
