I am more famous than the President — Eddy Kenzo

Eddy Kenzo accepting his award at the 2017 Uganda Entertainment Awards

Singer Eddy Kenzo over the weekend shocked many when he publicly revealed that he is the most famous personality in Uganda.  These self exalting wordings were uttered at Serena hotel during the Uganda Entertainment Awards ceremony.

While picking his award for best video which was Jubilation he said, “I am the most popular artiste to the world from Uganda. After me it’s Anne Kansiime, Amin and then the President.”

The public has been left with mixed feelings, while others think he is right the other section thinks he is a braggart. Eddy Kenzo basing on his YouTube subscribers has the biggest music following which is close to 200,000. No Ugandan artiste has even half the figure.

Eddy Kenzo bagged three awards; Artiste of the year, Male artiste of the year and Video of the year.
