The “Naija to Kampala” concert slated to happen this Friday, September 15 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval is the talk of town. Nigerian Superstars Tekno and Mr Eazi will be performing together with a powerful Ugandan lineup of Ykee Benda, Fille Mutoni, Bruno K and Sheebah Karungi.

And naturally, many Ugandans have been scratching their heads, wondering who is behind the highly anticipated event, which has also been billed the biggest concert of the year.

News filtering in has it that legendary events honcho Elvis Sekyanzi of the renowned Silk Events Empire teamed up with Aly Allibhai of Talent Africa to bring the two artistes to Uganda. Sources relay that Elvis Sekyanzi who prefers to be in the back ground is back at his prime.

“He usually prefers to be in the background. He has hordes of projects at hand and for a while, hadn’t ventured into direct events organization citing inefficiencies and the flood of mediocrity in the event business. But he has announced his presence and cemented his legacy with this one,” relayed a source from Uganda Breweries, the official sponsors of the “Naija to Kampala” Concert.
