Kampala Colour Fun Run

By Our Reporter

The 2017 Kampala Colour Fun Run is on this weekend.

The annual event in which runners are doused with different colors is scheduled to take place this Sunday,  September 10 at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

This year’s Color Fun Run has embraced the movement #1MBooksTo1MKids, aimed at raising one million books and nurturing a positive reading culture in Ugandan communities; starting with the boys and girls at the Kaleke Kasome Foundation in Mpigi.

Revelers should expect a color-filled experience topped with mini-tournaments, and non-stop music by DJ Kasbaby, DJ BK, DJ RPM, DJ Kathy and DJ Ruck. Tickets to the run are available at 10K for kids, 30K ordinary and 100K VIP which comes with coffee, breakfast and lunch courtesy of La Patisserie.

The fully-stocked libraries and learning centre will then be unveiled on 7th October at the Kaleke Kasome Foundation in Mpigi.

The event is supported by La Patisserie, Tecno Mobile and Mirinda.
