Singer cum actress Hellen Lukoma has been nominated for best actress in Colombian movie awards.
Lukoma is nominated in the Rolda WebFest awards for her appearance in a short film dubbed “Time Irreversible” which highlights how the AIDS scourge is affecting the youth. She is nominated alongside fellow actor Kidron Googo who received a nod in the best actor category.
Lukoma could not hide her joy about the milestone. She said, “Time Irreversible has scooped 3 nominations at the Rolda WebFest a film festival in Roldanillo,Colombia. Over 30 films and web series mostly from Europe and South America are competing and im glad that we are holding it for team Uganda as one of only 3 African countries to have a film there.”
Rolda Web Fest is an international festival of Web Series held in Roldanillo, Colombia that seeks to recognise high artistic level projects that have been created or showcased on the internet.
