It has been a rough couple of days for Tanzanian music sensation, Vanessa Mdee. The cash madame hit-maker was arrested by Tanzanian police for allegedly being involved in drug abuse and trafficking.
After Mdee’s arrest her restless fans and celebrity friends immediately begun agitating for the singer’s release on social media.
It seems their voices were heard since the singer has finally been released on bail after spending 5 days in police custody. Tanzanian journalist, Millard Ayo, broke the news late last evening.
The joy and relief of the Tanzanian sensation’s release seems be a short lived one since Vanessa is still under investigation by the police. According to Bongo 5, she is required to report back to the station this Wednesday.
