In Celebration of Women’s Day this month, DStv is treating its Female customers to a free movie screening of Hidden Figures at Century Cinemax to show it’s appreciation to its female customers. The Female customers will be treated to the award winning movie, popcorn and drinks as a DStv initiative to show how much they appreciate and value their female customers.

Phoebe Nakabazzi, Marketing Manager of DStv Uganda said, “Women’s day is a special day for all of us women. It reminds us of our achievements and power, and what better way to celebrate this day with our female customers by treating them with an award winning, female empowering movie, Hidden Figures at the cinema. We value all our customers and from time to time we like to show them how much we appreciate them and their loyalty to our services. That’s why this time around, we are recognizing our female customers this women’s day and taking them out for a movie to show them how special they are to our brand.”

Hidden Figures is the award winning biographical drama film about Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson – brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.
