Local comedian Teacher Mpamire has been nominated in Africa Youth Awards.
Mpamire is nominated in the Discovery of the Year category where he will face off with talent from across the continent including Emtee (South Africa), Mr Eazi (Nigeria) and Mark Angel (Nigeria) among others.
The comedian could not hide his excitement and is already rallying support from his legion of fans.
Africa Youth Awards is a prestige award scheme with the prime aim of appreciating the works of young Africans in Africa and the Diaspora. Launched in 2014, the awards scheme was inspired by the lack of recognition for young Africans who have selflessly dedicated their lives to making sure the future of Africa is optimistic.
Winners will be announced on New Years Day 2017.
