Tanzanian comedian Steve Nyerere has slammed Kenya’s funny man Eric Omondi by claiming that he is not a gifted ribcracker.
Speaking on EATV’s eNewz, Nyerere said he is yet to see any outstanding piece of comedy done by Eric Omondi. He further claimed that Eric is only good at reproducing other people’s work and pushing it aggressively on social media.
Nyerere added that he “does not recognise who Eric Omondi is in the field of comedy.”
He advised the former Churchill Show comedian to embrace originality and work towards producing authentic content, saying once Eric Omondi does that, he (Nyerere) “will recognise him as an artist.”
Eric is yet to respond to Nyerere’s claims.
