Musician Sheebah Karungi recently shared a touching story that shocked her fans when she openly said that she considers her father dead, even though he is still alive.

In a recent interview, Sheebah disclosed that her father was never there for her at any point in her life, indicating that she was raised by a single mom identified as Edith Kabazungu.

“My mother has been acting both as my father and my mother at the same time. I don’t have any connections with my father. I don’t even know his name, though I hear he is still alive. But for all I know, he is dead to me. I just know my mother is my father,” said Sheebah.

She further added that her father will never have a taste of her success.

The Kisasi Kimu singer also revealed that the reason she works hard is to beat her past life. Sheebah came to share her story as she gears up for her upcoming Nkwatako concert slated for December 2nd at Hotel Africana.
